Abby Walsh: Welcome to Faith & Laundry. Stay a while and maybe you'll find something to which you can relate. I am married and a mother to four children very close in age. I am a full time remote working parent and librarian. Additionally, I love the Catholic Church, but just like loving my husband and children, it is not an easy relationship. It is one that is dirty and messy and can use multiple cycles in the laundry to wash, rinse and spin out the dirt of my interior life. Some days the water runs hot, some days cold, and some days I need a lot of bleach (and not because of COVID-19).
